Analog handbrakes for rally, drifting and hairpins.
A dedicated handbrake gives you analog control over the rear wheels, which a button on the wheel can't match. Hall sensor and load cell designs read your input precisely and don't wear out like potentiometers.
Mount it close to the wheel on the side of your shifting hand. On console, a handbrake usually connects through the wheel base, so pick one from the same brand.
Most handbrakes cost €80–€250, with load cell models at the top of that range. If you already own a shifter from the same brand, check whether the two share a mounting rail — several manufacturers sell combined shifter and handbrake plates that save you buying two separate mounts.
